The Alumicruiser

• 1996 Nashbar 'Flashback' Cruiser (16" frame size) (bought new in 1996, sat in a box for 14 years, then built in 2010)
• This is my general-purpose touring / teaching bike
• Cantilever-framed cruiser type bicycle, in swoopy oversize aluminum tubing
• Very comfortable and reasonably fast - sprung saddle, Velocity Deep V rims, 26 x 1.25 high-pressure tires
• 21 speeds:
• 46-36-24 chainrings, Tooth Fairy guard
• 14-28 Shimano Hyperglide freewheel
• VistaLite 500 series 6V 5W headlight
• Stylish and useful Bor Yueh racks in rear & front (with lowriders!)
